CARGO FROM PACIFIC COAST. Messrs. .Burns, Philp and Company have received cabled advice that the Swayne and Hoyte steamer West Nivaria left Los Angeles on September 25 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and New Ply* mouth. The vessel is due at Auckland on October 20, and at Wellington about Octobex* 28.
RIMUTAKA DELAYED. The New Zealand Shipping Company s liner Rimutaka arrived off New Plymouth yesterday morning, to continue loading, but owing to a dense fog at that port she was unable to berth yesterday.
CITY OF CANTON. Cabled news, has been received by Mr. W. Wallis that the A. and A. Line chartered steamer City of Canton left New York on Sunday morning with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and Portland (Victoria). The vessel is due at Auckland on November 1. and at Wellington a week later.
MAUAKANA DUE TO-DAY. This morning the Shaw. Savin and Albion Company's steamer Matakana is due at Wellington from Liverpool, via Auckland. She will berth at the Kings Wharf to unload part cargo, and is to leave here on Tuesday for Lyttelton, Dunedin and Timaru with ‘he remainder.
MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. On the occasion of his approaching marriage Mr. M. P. Swain eon, of the office staff of Mr. W. Wallis, was the recipient yesterday of a set of cutlery from Mr. Wallis and his staff. Mr. Wallis made the presentation.
THE CANADIAN SCOTTISH. The Canadian Scottish sailed from Montreal at 4 a.m. on September 29 with general cargo to discharge at Auckland. Napier. Wellington. Lyttelton, Timaru. and Dunedin. The vessel is due at Auckland on November 10. and at Wellington about November 16.
TURAKINA LEAVES PANAMA. Mr. W. Wnllis is in receipt of cabled news that the. Turakina arrived at Panama on September 26 from Liverpool, and sailed on September 27 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, and New Plymouth. The vessel is due at. Auckland on October 18, and at W’ellington a week later.
RUAPEHU ARRIVES TUESDAY. The New Zealand Shipping Company received a wireless message yesterday from the Ruapehu, cn route from London and Southampton, stating that the vessel will arrive at Wellington next Tuesday morning.
lONIC’S MOVEMENTS. The lonic arrived at Auckland at 8.30 a.m. yesterday from Wellington, to complete discharge of her London cargo. She will leave Auckland 'ext Wednesday to load at Timaru and Wellington. The vessel is due at Wellington on October 13 to load, and will sail from here on October 17 for Napier and Auckland, to till up. The lonic is timed to depart from Auckland at daybreak on October 23 for Southampton and I ondon, via Panama..
KAIWARRA LEAVES ADELAIDE. Cabled advice has been -cccived by the Union Company that the Kaiwarra, which has been loading nt South Australian ports, cleared Adelaide nt 3 p.m. on Wednesday for New Plymouth, Auckland and Wellington.
THE MANUKA. The Union Company advise that the Manuka, from Melbourne, via southern ports, will leave Lyttelton at 3 P -m : day for Wellingtort. the is duo here to-morrow morning, and will leave at b p.m. on Monday for Melbourne direct.
MAHENO FOR SYDNEY. The Maheno is to leave Wellington at noon to-day for Sydney.
THE WINGATUI. The Union Company advise that the Wingatui was expected to clear Melbourne yesterday for Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton.
KAIKORAI FROM NEWCASTLE. The Union Company's steamer KaiKorai arrived at Wellington at 7.10 a.m. yesterday, with 4100 tons of coal and timber from Port Stephens and Newcastle, and berthed at the King’s Wharf at 9.15 a.m. to commence discharge. lhe y eEfs .?‘ Newcastle at 8.50 p.m. cn September 2A and moderate to fresh north-easterly winds with moderate seas were encountered until midnight on Wednesday, when she ran into had weather. AUSTRALIND DUE WEDNESDAY. Messrs. Gardner and Binnie report that the cargo steamer Australind is expected at Wellington next Wednesday from Lyttelton, to put out the remainder of her cargo of jarrah from Bunbury. The vessel will leave Napier to-day for Lyttelton.
VANCOUVER MAIL STEAMERS. The Aorangi, from Sydney, via Auckland. is due at Suva to-day, at Honolulu on October 7, and at Vancouver on Octoher 14. The Niagara, from Vancouver via Honolulu, is due at Suva on October 8, and at Auckland on October 11. She leaves for Sydney at 5 p.m. on Tues* day, October 12.

The Mamari arrived at Lyttelton yesterday morning from Dunedin, to continue discharge. She will leave Lyttelton on Tuesday for Napier. The Kaimai is now due at Wellington on Sunday from Greymouth.
