VERDICT OF MURDER AND SUICIDE. (Rec. September 29, 5.5 p.m.)' London, September 28. The inquest into the death of Mr. and Mrs. Lindsay Marshall, whose remains were found in a burning motorcar, resulted in a verdict of murder and suicide. A chemist gave, evidence that Mr. Marshall, on the morning of the tragedy, bought an ounce of prussic acid, declaring he wanted to kill a dog. Bits of a poison bottle were found in the burned car. The Coroner pointed out that Marshall’s financial affairs were very involved. and might have caused his mind to give wav. Apparently Marshall shot his wife, poured petrol over her, and then, inside the car, applied a light, and swallowed prussic acid.
