The Minister of Labour (Hon. G> J. Anderson) returned from the south yesterday.

The. Postmaster-General (Hon. W. Nosworthy) is due back, from the South Island this morning.

Mr. W. Durbridge, of the staff of Hie New Zealand Railways, Wellington, left for Auckland by the Limited on Monday on transfer. The Under-Secretary of the Mines Department (Mr. A. 11. Kcmbell) is expected to return to Wellington from the south this morning. The Secretary of the Post Office (Mr. A. T. Markmail), who is at present visiting different places in the North Island, is due back at Wellington next week. —

Rev. Dr. Carter, of London, ■secretary of the Zenana Bible and Medical Mission, arrived from NeLon yesterday morning and is staying at the Hotel Windsor.
