A pupil at (he South Wyndham School (reports the "Southland Daily News") brought an albatross to school. It had evidently been blown inland by the heavy wind of the previous night. It hit a fence and was found dead in the morning. The incident, in conjunction with the fact that other denizens of the Far South hare been found in Nsw Zealand, indicates exceptionally tempestuous weather this season in the Antarctic.
