GOLF

AUCKLAND REPRESENTATION AT MIRAMAR. BY Telegraph.—press Association. Auckland, September 29. It is a great pity that Auckland golf as a whole will not be strongly represented at the New Zealand championship meeting at Miramar next month. The only members of the Auckland Club who intend to make the trip arc H. L. Rees and the secretary (A. E. M. Rhind). R. D. Wright, the provincial champion Is not going. The Maungakiekie Club will probably have R. 0. Gardner and R. Af. George as representatives. It is expected that Afoss, the Auckland Club's professional, will defend his title of professional champion.
