WAR IN CHINA
SIEGE OF WUCHANG FOREIGN WOMEN & GIRLS PERMITTED TO LEAVE Peking, September 21. Through the efforts of the Hankow and Wuchang Chambers of Commerce, it is reported that thirteen foreign women and girls besieged in Wuchang are permitted to leave to-day. In the meantime the siege continues 'inabated. Reports from all sources reveal an unprecedented national unrest. The country from end to end is engulfed in the greatest maelstrom of warfare for several decades.
REVOLUTION IN HONG-KONG REPORTED I Rec. September 32, 8.15 p.m.) Melbourne, September 22. A private report published in the "Melbourne Herald” states that a revolution lias broken out in Ilong-kong. Details are lacking.
