LAWN TENNIS
WAIRARAPA ASSOCIATION. The annual report and balance-sheet of the Wairarapa Lawn Tennis Association, the annual meeting of which will be held to-morrow at Masterton, discloses the fact that the association has eome through its first year successfully. With a view to providing additional finance for the association the committee has recommended that a fee of 5 per cent, on the profits be collected from authorised tournaments, in addition to any charge for conducting the association tournaments. There are 11 clubs affiliated to the association, with a total membership of 924.
