THREAT OF EXPULSION OF MR. CHARLTON AND HIS FOLLOWERS (Rec. August 16, 11.20 p.m.) Sydney, August 16. Air. Searle, general president of the Australian Labour Party, has issued a statement threatening the expulsion from the party of Mr. Charlton and his followers unless they alter their attitude towards the referenda proposals.—Press Assn.
