FOUND HANGING

Tlie body of Mrs. F. C. Davis, who lived with her husband and sou and his wife at Pretoria Street, Lower Hutt, was found hanging yesterday, by a rope in a shed behind the house. Deceased. who was 64 years of age, had not been long out from England. She said "good-night” to her husband on Monday night, and was thought to have gone to bed. but when she was called yesterday morning it was discovered that the bed had not been slept in. It it understood that deceased had been very depressed at being away from her friends when she first arrived in New Zealand, but later she had appeared to he much brighter. An inquest is to be held.
