DESIGNS TO BE SUBMITTED The movement for perpetuation of the memory of the late Air. Massey is taking concrete shape at last. A meeting of the committee which is attending to the erection of a memorial was held yesterday, those present being the Prime Minister (Rt. Hon. J. G. Coates), the Speaker of the House of Representatives (Hon. Sir Charles Statham). the Speaker of the Legislative Council (Hon. Sir Walter Carncross), the Chief Justice (Hon. C. P. Skcrrett), Mr. G. Massev, and Hon T S. Weston, M.L.C. (treasurer). At the conclusion of the meeting the Prime Minister stated that it had been decided to invite Mr. S. Hurst Sea, ger to submit to the committee designs for the memorial, oTr. Coates added that the fund for the object stood at £10,250.
