BOXING AT LEVIN
JAM ITO ON MONDAY NIGHT. At the De Luxe Theatre, Levin, on Monthly, July 19, Salvino Jamito will meet Dick Eluiour in fifteen rounds for a purse of £lOO. Jamito has been meeting all the best boxers in hie class of late, and wherever he is billed boxing patrons F>ok for a very exciting exhibition. The Uorowhcnua Boxing Association, ruder whoso .auspices the contest has been arranged, have got together an excellent bunch of amateurs for the' preliminary bouts. Jim Evans, bantam champion oh tho Manawatu, will meet Allan Birch, Wellington’s bantam champion, who drew with Evans at Levin on their first meeting. Urwin, of Wellington, will meet Downes, of Palmerston North. O’Keefe, of Palmer-, ston North, will bo pitted against Turfis, of Wellington; Holgate, Foxton’s champion, will meet Tapp, a, Levin champion, and Lloyd George, a Levin schoolboy, will moot Kirkpatrick, a Wellington schoolboy. Tho box plan for ringside seats is now open at App’s, bookseller, Lovin, and patrons are advised to make applications early for seats. Ladies with escorts will be admitted free to the dress circle only.
