ADDRESS BY DR. GIBB AT PAHIATUA. Bt TELEGUArn—I’KEBS Association Pahiatua, July 12. The Rev. Dr. J. Gibb, of Wellington, who has been filling the pulpit of the Pahiatua Presbyterian Church for some weeks, addressed by request an afterchurch meeting in the theatre on the subject of the League of Nations. The Mavor presided over a large attendance. Dr. Gibb gave an inspiring, eloquent, and informative exposition on the aims of the League. Dr. Paterson, who was a surgeon in France during the Great War, accepted a seat on the platform, along with several representatives of religious' bodies, and was the mover of a hearty vote of rlianks.
