Goss, her boats, tackle, equipment, and appurtenances, now lying in Auckland Harbour. The Guy C. Goss is a 3-nuisted Barque of oak framing, pitch-pine planking, and hr decks. She is fastened with copper from keel to 22ft. mark. Balance galvanised iron. Length 213 ft. 9in., breadth 39ft. Biu., depth 24ft., gross tonnage 1572, net tonnage 1430. Built in 1879 by Guv C. Goss at Bath. Maine. U.S.A. Bottom, top-sides, and deck were caulked in 1921. Dry-docked in December, 1925, when bottom painted with two coats copper paint. The vessel was surveyed by the Board of Marine Underwriters. San Francisco, in December, 1925, and found sound. The vessel is equipped with the necessary sails, anchors, cables, water tanks, ballast, steam donkey, pumps, compasses, steel lifeboat, work boat. The cabin comprises six state looms, saloon, dining-room, pantry bathroom, medicine chest, lazarctte, Chartroom, and wheelhouse. The forecastle comprises donkey room, galley, bakery shop, crew's forecastle and messroom. The Order of Court and Commission for Sale can be seen at the Office of the Marshal, Supreme Court.
