CHARGES AGAINST YOUTH
ALLEGED TO HAVE BORROWED CARS. "This youth has converted about eight motor-cars altogether to his own use and dene damage amounting to some hundreds of pounds to the machines,” said Chief-Detective Ward to Mr. SV. G. Riddell. S.M.. in tho Magistrate’s Court yesterday, when referring to Roy Belt (aged 17), who appeared on Hired charges of unlawfully converting motorcars to his own use but not so as to be guilty of theft. On tbo application of tho chief-detec-tive, who stated that there were other charges pending, accused was remanded until Wednesday morning.
