ANXIOUS TO PROCEED
COBHAM RESTIVE AT DELAY IN FLIGHT. (Rec. July 11, 5.5 p.m.) Basrah, July 9. Mr. Alan Cobham states that there is still a possibility of proceeding on his flight to Australia with an Air Force pilot secured locally, as it would take Moore, the mechanic whom the. de Haviland Company proposes to send out, a fortnight to arrive. Mr. Cobham, who is anxious to proceed, considers such delay unwelcome. —Sydney “Sun” Cable. Basrah, July 10. A number of arrests have been made in the vicinity of Haniar Lake in connection with the shooting of Elliott. Reuter.
