TO-DAY’S WEATHER FORECAST
Meteorological Office, Wellington, July 11, 4 p.m.
A storm developed in the north on Saturday evening, and the barometer read 29.42 at Auckland at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Present indications are for east to south-east winds, strong to gale, northward of Farewell Spit and Kaikoura, and moderate to strong southerlies elsewhere. Weather unsettled and cloudy generally. Heavy rain is probable, with flooded rivers, in the northern and east coast districts. Barometer falling, but rising again soon. D. C. BATES.
