ALL BLACKS IN SYDNEY TWO PLAYERS INJURED Sydney, July 8. In addition to the civic reception tendered to the All Blacks, the team were enthusiastically welcomed by a large gathering of tlie general public 111 the Town Hall. Mr. Wood, president of the New South Wales Union, who presided, said that people would like to see a British team in Sydney. It was nearly twenty vears since such a team visited Australia, and the local union must support the New Zealand Union’s request that a British team should visit Australia and New Zealand. If that happened he would like to see the New Zealand Union send a representative team to play the British team in Sydney. Mr. 11. Leith, the manager, and C. G. Porter, the captain, on rising to rcplv, icccivcd tremendoua ovations. Both thanked the public for the exceptionallv warm welcome extendi d to the teapri. Stevenson and Svenson are both suffering from kree injuries, anil will pro-br-blv be unable to play on Saturday.
