LAND SETTLEMENT
THE HVTT VALLEY SCHEMEAn Order-in-Conncil in the Gazette fixes the regulations under the Hutt 1 alley Land Settlement Act, 1925. These provide that the term of the license shall be 344 years, and deferred payments on the "outstanding balance of pin chase money is fixed at 54 per cent . The first half-yearly instalment ot purchase money and of interest is payable on the last: day of February or on August 31 following the expiration of six months from tl.e date of the license, and the succeeding instalments arc payable half-yearly ou the anie days in each year thereaftci. The purchase money is payable ill 69 half-yaarly instalments,
