CRACKER THROWN INTO MOUTH
SPEAKER KILLED BY EXPLOSION (Rcc. July 7, 7.45 p.m.) New York, July 6. Two hundred deaths are reported from various parts of the United States through accidents during Fourth of July celebrations. The most peculiar death is reported from Davenport, lowa, where a large fire cracker thrown by a boy landed in the mouth of a speaker at a public meeting and bis face was blown off.— Aus.-N.Z.
