SYDNEY SHEEP SALES

GOOD PRICES FOR NEW ZEALAND CONSIGNMENTS.

(Rec. July 7, 11.5 p.m.) Sydney, July 7. The stud sheep sales were continued to-day. British breeds, with the exception of English Leicesters, evoked keen competition. Large consignments of Border Leicesters and Corriedales, both stud and flock sheep, from J. Nixoti (Canterbury), J. Cameron (Timaru), R. Low (Canterbury), G. Greenwood (Canterbury), and the Canterbury Agricultural College realised highlv sati: factory prices. Mr Nixon secured two records for to-day’s sales, one of bis Border Leicester stud rams realising 00 guineas, and twenty Border Leicester flock ewes 17 guineas each. Values generally were the highest ruling for British breeds for some years. —Press Assn.
