MOTOR-CAR FALLS ON MAN
4 Jack Hartridge, a single man, aged 22, residing at Eastbourne, was admitted to the Public Hospital at 4 p.m. yesterday suffering from fractured ribs. He was working under a car at the Maoriland Motors garage, when the jack on which the car was supported slipped, the car falling on him, and crushing his ribe. He is progressing as favourably as can be expected.
