THE BUS REGULATIONS. A meeting of the Wellington Master Coaah and . Body Builders’ Association was held .on Wednesday evening, when there was a large representation of members, presided over by Mr. John E. Hunt, president. Full consideration was given to tho recently gazetted regulations controlling motor-omnibuses, members being unanimously of the opinion tnat Cabinet* made n grave error In deciding to pass regulations. which are tantamount to new laws, without due authority from Parliament to make such regulations, thereby denying the representatives of the people of the Dominion the right lo have a voice in tho legislation of the country. Strong exception was taken to clauses in the regulations relating to insurance, appeal board, differential rates to he charged by omnibus proprietors above those charged by local bodies in connection with the trams run by them. The representations proposed to be made hv the New Zealand Coach and Body Builders' Federation relating to the Customs tariff were also dealt with. Messrs. G. T. Maslen and Company were elected to membership of the association,
