PROPERTY SALES
Mr. H. Ernest Leighton reports that ho has soli tre balance of the unsold sections in tho "Sun-all-day” Estate, submitted to auction on May 22, at the corner of White’s Line and M ainur Road. Lower Hutt. They averaged throughout <£29l 13s. 40d. per section, or £ll2O per acre. The Bungalow and three-quarters of an acre of ground, submitted to auction on May 29, was passed in at £l9OO, not reaching its reserve, ills now in the auctioneer’s hands for private sale. At the auction sale held <xl» account of Captain Williams on June 5, the house and nearly two acres was submitted to the hammer, and was passed in at £2350, not reaching its reserve. This also is in the hands of the auctioneer for private sale. The stock and plant submitted at the same time and place fetched very satisfactory prices. Mr. Leighton also reports sale of No. 80 Webb Street, for £1650, and No. 238 Tinakori Road at £llOO.
