Grace (Te Aute); five-eighths Love (Wellington), D. Pelham (Auckland); halfback AV. Shortland (Hawkes Bay); wing-forward, S. Gemmell (Hawkes Bay); forwards, O. Ohlsen (North Auckland), T Gemmell (Hawke’s Bay)., W. Rika (North Auckland), A. Swainson (Hawke’s Bay), D. Matone (North Auckland), B. Heke (Rotorua), Reside (Wairarana). Emergencies: Backs, Wi Neera (Wellington), T. Morrison (Bay of Plenty); forward, Solomon (Auckland). ’ The second trial will be the Te Mori Rosebowl match, which is to bo played at Palmerston North on June 23.
