MESS-TABLE GOSSIP. Mr. W. Henderson has replnced Mr. J. 11. Miller as first mate on the Tamahine. Mr. A. W. Bngley has signed off the Kaimai’s articles as chief engineer, and Mr. W. Smart has replaced him.
THE CANADIAN CONQUEROR. The Canadian Government Agency have received a wireless message from the Canadian Conqueror, bound from Halifax, stating that the vessel will arrived at Auckland to-day. She is expected to reach Wellington next Saturday.
THE HERTFORD REPORTED. A wireless message was received by the Federal Co. yesterday from the Hertford, on route from Liverpool, stating that she will arrive at Auckland nt midnight tonight. She is due at Wellington about a week later.
THE HORORATA’S ITINERARY. . The New Zealand Shipping Co. advise that the Hororata arrived at Napier at 6 a.m. vesterday from Wellington to complete 'discharge of her London cargo and to commence loading. The vessel will leave Napier to-morrow for Timaru, Lyttelton, Picton, and Wellington. The Hororata is due here on June 22, and w-W proceed hence to Auckland, from whivn port slit* is to sail on July 1 for London, via Panama.
TAHITI FROM ’FRISCO. The Union Co.’s R.M.S. Tahiti arrived in the stream at 3.5 p.m. yesterday from San Francisco, via Papeete and Rarotonga. The vessel berthed nt the Pipitea Wharf at 4.20 p.m. The Tahiti left San 1’ rancisco on May 19 at 2 p.m. The vessel had few passengers, but a large cargo of general merchandise. After clearing the Golden Gate a thick fog was encountered, but it, lifted after sunset, the ship bonig able to proceed at full speed. 1’ ine weather prevailed for the first few days, but on crossing the Equator the breeze freshened, and was accompanied by a heavy swell, which moderated after a couple of days. The weather continued fine until arrival at Papeete at 6 a.m. on May -9. A large quantitv of general cargo was landed, and the Tahiti resumed her voyage on the same day. Fine weather still hold, and the vessel arrived at Rarotonga at 7.30 a.m, on May 31. A little general cargo was unloaded, and the loading of fruit was commenced immediately. The sea was rough, and early in the evening became worse, necessitating a cessation of work until the next morning, when the sea had moderator. Loading ~G n proceeded and continued all day. The 'ahiti sailed again nt 7 p.m. Inst Tuesday. For the first two days a strong hand wind and heavy swell were encountered, but. after then conditions moderated until arrival at. Wellington. The Tahiti is timed to sail from Wellington at 10 o'clock to-night for Sydney.
THE DEVON. The Federal Co. advise that the n«v(.u arrived at Nelson on Sunday morning *’rom New Plymouth to continue loading. The vessel will leave Nelson to-night tor the AVanganui roadstead.

on Saturday for New Plymouth to complete discharge of her cargo from Antwerp. THE CITY OF WINCHESTER. Rain delayed the City of Winchester at Oamaru. The Shaw, Savill, and Albion Co. advise that the vessel will now leave there to-day for Bluff, Port CJialmers. Wanganui, and Wellington. The City of Winchester is due at Wellington on June 22, and will leave here on June 23 tor Auckland. From the northern port the vessel is to sail on June 28 for London, via Cape Horn. THE TEKOA. The Tekoa is due at Timaru tjns morning from Auckland to continue loading. The vessel will leave Timaru on Thursday for Lyttelton.
