The Government has resigned, and the military leaders are conferring with the President in order to form a new Cabinet.—Sydney “Sun” Cable (Rec. May 31, 7.15 p.m.) Lisbon, May 31. The revolution was victorious throughout the country without loss of life. There was not even rioting. A military dictatorship has now been established, aiming at the provisional abolition of Parliament. Troops have now replaced the police everywhere.
