'TEMPORARY REPAIRS EFFECTED. Rv Tfl EGRAPH ASSOCIATION Auckland, May 31. Water from the Nihotup’i reservoir was turned into tho mrin yesterday afternoon, and reached the city reservoirs during the night. This was made possible by the completion of temporary repairs to the Nihotupu main nt Quinn’s Creek, where an extensive washout during tho storm on May 19 carried away a largo section of the pipe.
