MAORI TOURING TEAM

DATES OF FIXTURES. Mr. S. S. Dean, chairman of the Management Committee New Zealand Rugby Union, has received cable advice that matches for the Maori touring team in England have been fixed as follow: — First match, v. Somerset, on October 16. Then v. Newport, Swansea, Gloucester, Flarlequins, Devon, Cardiff, Yorkshire, Midland, London Counties, Hampshire, and Leicester. In addition to these 12 fixtures, there will be three more matches in England, which have vet to be arranged. Their first match in France will take place o’s September 19, and there will be in all five matches played in that country.
