TOWN AND COUNTRY. Mrs. S. Hutchinson (Auckland) has been visiting her sister, Mrs. C. E. Isbister, Palmerston North. Mr. and Mrs. P. A. Bissett (Pahiatua) are visiting Napier. Miss Ormond and Miss Spencer (Havelock North) are visiting Christchurch. Miss P. Scott (Nelson) has been staying in Wanganui. . . Miss Doreen Tennant (Napier) is the guest of Mrs. Tancred, Remuera, Auckland. . K . Miss E. Morgan (Napier) is on a visit to Dannevirke. > Mr. and Mrs. Eric Hodder have returned to Masterton after visiting Christchurch and Dunedin. Mrs. R. Law (Wanganui) arrived back in New Zealand this week by the Marama after a holiday trip to Australia. Wanganui ladies will have the opportunity of viewing the largest and finest collection of Canadian and Russian furs ever imported at one time into New Zealand. The reputation of Madame Menere and Co., Ltd., who are the oldest established furriers in the Dominion, is sufficiently well known to merit the confidence of their clients. The display of these magnificent furs is to. be given in rooms 11 and 12, Selwyn Buildings, Wanganui, for one week onlv, commencing Tuesday next, when all furs will be sold at a saving of many pounds on a single article.—Advt.
