WINTER RAILWAY TIMETABLE

The railway winter time-table will come into operation, on June 7 next. From that date the running of the daylight Limited express trains between Wellington and Auckland will bo discontinued, and slight adjustments to other trains become necessary. The 616 a.m. Paekakariki-Palmerston North train and the 6.30 a.m. Otaki-Pae-kakariki Monday train are slightly altered. Minor adjustments are made to the 8.20 a.m. and 5.40 p.m. Wellington-Palmerston North trains between Manakau and Palmerston North. Slight alterations are also made to the 7.52 a.m. train from Johnsonville, the 10.35 p.m WellingtonJohnsonville train, and the 10.35 p.m. Wel-lington-PTimmerton Friday night train. Details are advertised in to-day’s issue. The Department has aimed to avoid disturbing the existing time-table as much as possible when making the essential alterations. ,
