Tho Wellington provincial executive of the Farmers' Union at a meeting to-day resolved to recommend tho compulsory dehorning of all cattle except herd book animals. A pretest was made against the Postal Department levying 10s. a year for the rural mail boxes and it was recommended that the Fertilisers Bill, before being brought before Parliament should bo referred to a committee of the Fanneis’ Union.
