AIEESKE DEFEATS ANDERSON. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, April 12. A westling contest this evening between Em. Anderson (Palmerston North), light-heavyweight champion of New Zealand, and Billy Alecskc, lightheavyweight champion of Australia, to be decided on the best of six bouts in catch-as-catch-can stvle, and the best of three in Cumberland style, provided a good contest: Anderson stood up excellently to his more experienced opponent in the catch-as-catch-can style, and all six bouts were indecisive. However, Aleeske was awarded the victory points. In the Cumberland style Anderson obtained two falls to Meeske’s one. A deciding bout was wrestled in catch-as-cqjch-can style and after a struggle Alteske obtained a fall whieh won him ihs match.
