Palmerston North, April 10. It has been decided that Poppy Day shall, this year, be held on Saturday next, April 17. There will bo a stall tn the Square, and a band of ladies will assist in the sale of the ponpics. Of the latter 400 large and 4000 small have been ordered by the Returned Soldiers’ Association, and their sale will do. much to assist returned men who arc in straitened clrennistances. Indeed, the benefits resulting are numerous, and in Hie past unemployed m<«l have been assisted into work.
