MAINTENANCE ARREARS

A REMAND TO NAPIER. Palmerston North, April 8. John Henry Frith, tea merchant, of Cuba Street, Palmerston North, will appear at Napier Court to-morrow morning on a charge of being <£23 ss. in arrears up to December 28 last on a maintenance order in' respect to his son. Frith appeared mi this count at the Palmerston North Police Court this morning, and was remanded to appear at Napier. An order was made against Frith on May 18 last for tho payment of 15s. a week toward tho maintenance of his son, who is at present an inmate of the Hamilton Receiving Home. Accused was arrested last night.
