The Shaw-Savill Company’s liner Corinthic, which arrived in the stream at 6.33 on Wednesday evening from Southampton, via Panama, berthed at the Pipitea Wharf just, after 10 a.m.-yesterday. The vessel loaded at London, and left there on February 25. arriving at Southampton the following day. and leaving there that afternoon. Fine weather was experienced on the run to Panama, where the vessel arrived on March 14 at 6.32 a.m. The passengers had some time sahore while the ship was loading, and, this completed. the Corinthic proceeded through the Canal, arriving at Balboa at 9 p.m. (lie same day. The passengers visited the town, and then the ship left at 1 p.m. on March 15 for Pitcairn Island. Warm, fine weather was experienced on the trip to the island, which was reached on March 27. The vessel made a stop of two hours. After leaving the island at 11 a.m. the same dav the vessel experienced high snuth-westerly swells and moderate to strong head breezes to port, being delayed 12 hours. The general health on the voyage was 'exceptionally good, and an excellent social spirit prevailed. MISCELLANEOUS. The Inkula cleared Westport at 5 pm. ou Wednesday for Sydney to load wheat. The Orari arrived at Melbourne on April 3 from Hobart. From Melbourne sue will go to Adelaide. The Norfolk, which left M elllngton on March 13 for London, arrived at Curacao on April r>, and sailed the same day in continuation of her voyage. The Wingatui left Bluff yesterday, via ports, for Wellington. She is due here about Wednesday, and is to proceed on to Auckland. , . . The Opihi from southern ports is duo at Wellington on Sunday. She is to leave again on Monday for Nelson and New Plymouth. . , , , . The Kamo from Bluff, via ports, is due at Wellington about Wednesday. She is to proceed on to Napier and Gisborne. The Kaimai is to clear Greymouth tomorrow for Wellington. The Kaituna is to load at South Australian ports towards the end of tins month for Auckland, Wellington, and Castlecliff. The Katon is to clear Auckland to-day for Wellington and southern ports. She is due here on Monday. The 'Haurakl is to leave Wellington tomorrow for Melbourne to complete discharge. , The Waitemata arrived at Wellington yesterday morning from New Plymouth. She is to leave this afternoon for racitit Coast ports.
