SAWMILL HAND KILLED
Br Telegbaph.—Press Association Invercargill, March 29. Advice has been rcceivod of an accident on Friday, in Catlin’s River district, resulting in the death of a sawmill hand, Charles Kirkland. It appears that a log rolled on to deceased causing fatal injuries. Kirkland was thirtysix years of age, and employed at the Lauiriston mill, Tahakopo. ' Deceased, who lost an arm about 2 years ago as a result of an accident at Waikawa, leaves a widow and four children.
