NEW ZEALAND HOSPITALITY
APPRECIATED B-V AUSTRALIAN WARSHIPS. By Telegraph.—Press Association Auckland, March 23. On the eve of the departure of, the Australian Squadron from New Zealand waters, Commodore Wardle pays a warm tribute to the hospitality of Jiew Zealanders, not only at Auckland but throughout the whole Dominion. He points out the value of the combined naval exercises, for the sole purpose of which the Australian vessels crossed the Tasman. He says he will take back with him many; ambassadors for New Zealand among\the ships’ companies. He pays a tribute to the courtesy extended by Mr J. Hislop, Under-Secretary of Internal Affairs, who represented the Government during the visit. The officers and men greatlv appreciated the opportunity of going . to Rotorua. It is clear the Australians have enioved their shore leave everywhere to the full.
