MAGISTRATE’S COURT
POLICE CASES. Mr. C. 11. Orr Walker, S.M., presided in the Magistrate’s Coui-t yesterday. James (liver Armstrong, a second offender for drunkenness, was lined ids., in default 24 hours' imprisonment. Pleading guilty to a third offence of drunkenness, John'Edward Byrne was fined in default three days’ ii prisonnient. For a second offence for drunkenness, William Gordon was fined 10s., in default 48 hours’ imprisonment. For fighting in the street, Thomas James Hughes and George Potter were fined Al each.
For a breach of his prohibition older, George Albert Wheatcroft Jamieson was fined Al. in default three days’ imprisonment. He was also ordered to pay medical expenses totalling 17s. 6d., in default three days’ imprisonment, for a second offence of drunkenness.
