GOING TO DUNEDIN

ROYAL WELLINGTON CHORAL UNION.

A paragraph in the annual report of the Royal Wellington Choral Union reads ns follows:— 'At the invitation o: the exhibition authorities the. society is visiting Dunedin, and in conjunction with the Dunedin Choral Society, wil' perform the following works at tin Festival Hall:—March 1, “Faust,” Gounod; conductor, Dr. V. R. Galway. March 2, “The Golden Legend,” Sulli van; conductor. Dr. V. R. Galway. March 4, “Cavalleria Rusticana,” Mas cagni; conductor. Mr. H. Temple White March 5, “Elijah,” Mendelssohn: conductor, Mr. U. Temple White. For this musical festival the members have been practising assiduously for several months past, and it is anticipated that the combined forces numbering over U)0 performers will create a musical impression of lasting merit to both societies‘
