As the result of being struck by a falling piece of jarrah a foot square, while working in Odlins’ timber yard, shortly before 12 o’clock yesterday, a man named 11. Edilston, a widower, aged 50, is-in the _ Public Hospital, where he was admitted . shortly after tlie accident occurred, suffering from set ere internal injuries. Up till last night lie was in a serious condition. A Press Association message from Dunedin states that the concluding session of the architects’ conference were held yesterday. Mr. S. Hurst Seagar (Christchurch), was elected president. *
