DEMAND FOR SUPERFINE SORTS ' VERY FIRM.

At the wool sales the demand for superfine wool was very firm. Topmakers’ sorts at times were irregular, but there was a particularly strong demand for skirtings. Comebacks and fine crossbreds met a strong demand. Greasy merino sold at 31}d. per lb.— Press Assn.
