American Layn Tennis Association officials cabled Miss Helen Wills at Cannes to continue to plav, after receiving a message from her asking advice following reports that there had been widespread gambling and commercialisation in connection with her anticipated meeting with ■ Mdlle. Tho matches next Saturday between selected teams from the Wellington and Wanganui Associations will be played on the eight unsealed hard counts at Miramar.
