DUNEDIN SITTINGS. Dunedin, February 10. The criminal sessions of the Supremo Court concluded to-day. William Richard Frankpltt, aged 26, who pleaded guilty to a charge of common assault on Frank Doherty, was admitted by His Honour Mr. Justice Sim to two years' probation. ' Andrew Turnbull, for indecently assaulting a girl 13 years of age, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment. James Arthur Cameron Perry, for indecently assaulting a girl 12 years of age, was ordered to come up for sentence if called on within the next five years, a condition being that he proceed to tlm Salvation Army Home in Christchurch. AUCKLAND SENTENCES. Br Telegraph.—Press Association. Auckland, February 10. Prisoners were sentenced at the Supreme Court to-day as follow:— Richard Pearson, illegal use of an instrument, twelve months’ reformative treatment; Sana Fakir Kara, found guilty of forgery after two trials, twelve months’ imprisonment; William Lowe, forgery, two years’ probation and to make restitution; Whitu Slade, forgery, eighteen months’ imprisonment; Oscar Bruce Hura Whyte, theft, forgery and uttering, -twelve months’ rofonnative detention: George Mitchell Geddis Goine, theft, nine . months’ imprisonment, concurrent with the present sentence for a similar offence; Walter Cowan, carnal knowledge of a girl under sixteen, to come up for sentence when called on. CHRISTCHURCH SITTINGS. Christchurch, February 10. The criminal sessions of the Supreme Court opened to-day. His Honour Mr. Justice Adams presiding. Alfred Lewis was charged with carnal knowledge of a girl aged 13. The jury returned a verdict of guilty. Sentence was deferred. :
