Interesting war statistics drawn up by the ex-president of the French Statistical Society reveal that the killed and missing ot the chief belligerents in tne war in proportion to population are as follow:—France, 1 person in 28, Germany, 1 in 35; Austria, 1 m 50, Britain, lin 66; Italy, 1 m Russia, lin 107; America, 1 in 2000.
