SAFETY OF SHUNTERS
PROTEST FROM TIMARU. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Timaru, February 10. The Timaru branch of the Amalgamated Society* of Railway Servants at a largely attended meeting unanimously passed a motion strongly protesting against the alleged failure of the Government to put into operation the findings of the Shunting Inquiry Board set up to report on conditions affecting the’ safetv of shunters.
