LEVEL-CROSSING FATALITY

INQUEST ADJOURNED. Mi/sterton, February 10. At Carterton vesterday the inquest on the victims of the Kent Street crossing, Jacob and John Ryoska, was opened before the Coroner (Mr. E. G. Eton). Alfred F. Pink, grocer, gave evidence of identification. He said John Ryoska went into the Wairarapa Farmers’ Cooperative Association in the afternoon to buv matches. He was quite sober. Both men were quiet and industrious, and were well respected in the district. On the application of the, police the inquest was adiourned until Friday.
