DRAGGED BY BOLTING HORSE
HAY-RAKE DRIVER INJURED.
By Telegraph.—Press Association. Blenheim, February 10. George Gale, married, a farm labourer, whilst mounting a hay-rake at Grovetown, was thrown to the roadway owing to the horse bolting. One foot was caught in the rake, and the man was dragged for over a quarter of a mile before the horse was stopped. Gale suffered extensive lacerations to his shoulders, arms, head, and legs, and is now in hospital.
