THEFT AND PASSING VALUELESS CHEQUES. Br Telegraph—Press AssociationAuckland, January 14. Sydney John Badawis, aged 27, was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment and three years’ reformative detention at tho Magistrate’s Court to-day, after entering a plea of guilty to ten aharges of theft and two of passing valueless cheques.
