A BUSY YEAR FOR COURT OFFICIALS
INCREASE IN CRIMINAL ' CASES
The year just ended was an exceptionally busy one for the Wellington Magistrates and the court officials generally. Figures now available show the substantial increase of 927 criminal cases tried over the previous year’s returns. The following are the figures, those in parentheses being for the year ended December, 1924 :—Males, 6451 75488) ; females, 450 (489) ; grand total, 6904 (5977)
