CHOOSING TFTU WORKERS’ ASSESSOR. By Telegraph.—Press Association. Christchurch, January 11. Tf the executive of tlic Trades Councils’ Federation decide to nominate Mr. Monteith as workers’ assessor on the Arbitration Court, the ,ction will have been taken without a mandate from the affiliated councils, stated Mr. Green, secretary of the Canterbury Trades Council, this morning. The federation, he said, did not have the; right to nominate anyone, and trade councils wore in a similar position.
